At my Uncle and Aunts house they have several different animals in a field beside their home.  Turkeys, chickens, fainting goats, and other assorted sheep and more goats.  So these turkeys have been roosting on the fence and dumping their waste and making a mess, so too speak.  So Auntie took the BBgun and Little Farmer to knock them off.  OMG it was so funny.  They did well but the turkey’s feathers blocked the BB from actually hitting their skin; it was more aggravating for the turkeys than hurtful.  Little Farmer did really good with his aim too.  I was quite impressed. It was such hard work we had to get some drinks afterwards too.  Like I said too funny!  Of course I had to use Old West Cartridge for this layout.

Red, White and Blue February 17, 2010

Here is a layout done for last years 4th of July weekend.  One of my favorites.  Love this paper!  I used A Childs Year Cartridge for boy in the car, Graphically Speaking for the jumbled PLAY and Wild Card for the font.  Wild Card was a cartridge that I bought and never used with my baby bug.  Now I have my E, I actually use the cart more.  Didn’t even know it had a font on it until very recently.

Let It Snow February 11, 2010

I was snowed in all weekend a couple of weekends ago so what better layout to do for Little Farmer’s scrapbook than a Let it Snow one!  It really did take a lot of time to this LO because of all the paper piecing and of course my errors in sizing.  One of these days I will learn…I glittered the snow caps on the trees, you can’t really tell in the picture but they look really cute!

I am telling you what that Graphically Speaking time is so quickly becoming my go to cart.  I used it to cut out the words on this LO.  I LOVE MY CRICUT EXPRESSION!

Here is another Layout I did as Little Farmer was waiting for school to let out.  I just happen to be picking him up that day and caught him on camera and he didn’t even know it.

Little Farmer went to Natural Bridge, VA on a Field Trip.  He loved it. Well all except the caverns.  He was terrified.  He had a great time overall.  I love being able to go with him.  Again used Graphically Speaking cartridge and Old West cartridge for the letters.  Have I mentioned that I have the BEST SIL for getting me this…oh and the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge that wasn’t on my list has now become one of my favorites too.

I had such a great time doing this layout.  I really love the papers, flowers and ribbon.  I have had them in my stack for months just waiting on the perfect design to come into my head.  I got to use all my Spiffy Prima Flowers too!  I used the Graphically Speaking cart to cut the words out.  Since I have gotten my E I have used my cartridges so much more!  I love that I can cut above 5 inches!

This layout is a bit busy.  I haven’t found the right pictures for it just yet but I don’t see that being a problem.  I just put my order in for more pictures to be printed!  I can’t believe the ones that I have left to scrap for 2009.

I am trying really hard to use up some of my scrapbooking materials before I go shopping again.  I really want to make room for some new ones.  January and February are my busiest months for Birthdays.  There is always a party on the weekend which ties into my scrapbooking/cleaning time so something gets put on the back burner.  I haven’t received an invitation yet (sometimes I get notified the day before or just a couple of days before URGH! and boy does that rub me the wrong way) (*Becky will not rant)  to one this upcoming weekend so hopefully I will get to scrap away!  I love the cousins but I love to scrap too.

Becky

What a great time we have when we can all get together!

This layout is of the “Spence’s” playing cornhole.  I love this spot on my uncle’s farm.  Granted all I have is my little car and always have to rely on someone else to get me back there unless I want to walk.  Nah!  🙂

Cornhole Lo

I hope you enjoy my creations.  I have plans for some new things.  More TP mini albums, tiles, and altered journals.  Christmas is coming quickly and I hope that most of my aunts and cousins gifts will be hand made.

Now for a young man’s (15-25 years of age) hand made gift?  I am drawing a blank…  Can anyone share their ideas?

Becky

I am finally getting to sit down with out interruptions *Unless you classify hubby wanting the computer while I am using it.  Don’t put it down or it is fair game!! to do some scrapbooking.  It has been a while since I was able to sit down COMPLETE a project and get to take a picture of it.  I cleaned off my scrapbook table and in the process I found a new templete I just had to try!  While it isn’t the exact same it has some of the main prinicipals of the lo I was “copying’.  I did have a great time doing it but I tell you time got away from me and it took me about 4 hours to complete.

Becky
