Mini Album July 30, 2009

Here is an album I got to finish last night.  Just because I was mad and locked myself in my scrapbooking room.  Why do men do stupid stuff?  That’s all I have to say. 

I bought this album at Michaels in the dollar section.  I want to go back there and get some others in the colorblock manufacturer.  I love these because they are big enough to get a 3.5 x 5 picture on them and so some journaling.  I am not completely happy with this BUT am I ever with any project I do?  Something seems to always be off.

I can always add stuff to it later.  What do you think?

Cookie sheet Dry Erase Board July 28, 2009

I made these for the Teacher Aide’s for Christmas this past year!  They were each different.  This is the only one I have to take a picture of!  Why would I have not taken a picture of them!  OOH yeah DS had WALKING PNEUMONIA! At Christmas yuckkkk!!  These were simple too…. Hope you enjoy!

Busy Boy Layout July 24, 2009

I am finally getting to sit down with out interruptions *Unless you classify hubby wanting the computer while I am using it.  Don’t put it down or it is fair game!! to do some scrapbooking.  It has been a while since I was able to sit down COMPLETE a project and get to take a picture of it.  I cleaned off my scrapbook table and in the process I found a new templete I just had to try!  While it isn’t the exact same it has some of the main prinicipals of the lo I was “copying’.  I did have a great time doing it but I tell you time got away from me and it took me about 4 hours to complete.

School Goody Bag July 22, 2009

I got this idea off the internet (I have no idea where now).  I have over filled it but I wanted to stuff it as full as I could get it.  Anything that was school related went in here.  AND CHEAP it can be!  With all the free or almost free deals at CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens and Staples.  If you are lucky enough to get to run to all the stores you have a simply cheap but creative gift.

Simply clean the bottle, cut the label off of it and use an exacto knife to cut an opening in the bottle.  Don’t get too big or you won’t be able to cover the tape you use to close it up.  Measure the bottle and start the paper on a flat service  and start decorating then use heavy duty glue dots to secure to bottle.  Have fun with this project!  I am anxious to see how it would be for a baby shower!  IDEA!

Wonderful 4th! July 6, 2009

 

 

Well, we got together for a few cookouts.  At my aunts house they made a slip and slide that was just plain awesome.  Then we went to another aunts house for fireworks. 

I am so thankful that for the men and women who give their lives everyday for without them we would not be as free as we are today.
