Cowboy Beans

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion (optional)

1 can pork n beans

1 can pinto beans

1 can Lima Beans

1 can tomato paste

1 can diced tomatoes

1 can Dark Red Kidney beans drained and rinsed

1 tbsp. Southwest seasoning ( add more for more heat)

Brown ground beef and onion together. Then add the rest of the ingredients. Simmer until hot. Great in the crock pot.

The longer they sit the better they are. This recipe is great to play with. I have added salsa to it, tomato soup instead of paste, Rotel tomatoes with green chilies.

This is a great meal to help clean out the pantry!  It takes several cans of tomatoes and beans.  I really love this.  Little Farmer loves them more than anybody in our house.  Enjoy!
